"2016 Lintas Jaya Operation is a good agenda to create comfort and order traffic," said Andri Yansyah, Jakarta Head Dept. of Transportation, Tuesday (1/12).
According to him, this operation invited 200 personnel of police and army in five city administration areas. Operation targets are public transport, goods transport, and two/four wheeled vehicle parked illegally.
142 Vehicles Netted During Lintas Jaya OperationMain focus of this operation is in public transport terminal and illegal parking area.
"Locations are Monas, Roxy, Tanah Abang, Kota Tua, and public transport terminals," he added.
Yansyah continued that the operation also targets ticketing for 54,200 vehicles, stopping operation for 7,200 vehicles, removing tire valve for 82,300 vehicles, and towing 13,600 vehicles.
"The budget is Rp 11.52 billion taken from city budget," he closed.
